With the weather changing, I wanted to remind everyone of our uniform policy.
Please refer to the attached PS–6th Grade Student-Parent Handbook (p. 16) for more details on uniforms.
Get ready for a cozy and fun day at school! Tomorrow, students are invited to wear their favorite pajamas.
Please make sure pajamas are school-appropriate and that students wear proper footwear for safety.
We’re looking forward to a comfortable and fun day!

This Easter, we celebrate the joy, hope, and promise of new life through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. May our Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools community be filled with faith, love, and renewal.
Wishing all of our families and staff a blessed and joyful Easter!

This month at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we’re highlighting honesty—the virtue of speaking the truth, acting with integrity, and living with a sincere heart.
Honesty builds trust, strengthens friendships, and helps us reflect Christ in all we do. We’re encouraging our students to choose truth even when it’s difficult, to take responsibility for their actions, and to let their words and choices shine with authenticity.
✨ “The Lord delights in those who speak the truth.” – Proverbs 12:22

This month at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we’re focusing on self-control—the virtue that helps us pause, choose wisely, and follow God’s will even when it’s hard.
Self-control strengthens our hearts and minds, helping us make choices that reflect Christ’s love. Whether it’s practicing kindness, managing emotions, or resisting temptations, we’re encouraging our students to slow down, think, and act with intention.

The PES sisters visited 3rd grade classes today. They talked about the three things we, as Catholics, do during Lent: Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving. They also talked about Jesus’ love and how we give ourselves during Lent to give back to Jesus. Then students got to write something they are going to give back during Lent on a cross and they keep it in their classroom throughout Lent!
