💙Today was the FIRST dart day of the school year! Students who "acted like a Knight" throughout the month of September had their name on a Knight card on the wall in the Gym. Students were recognized for practicing virtues, responsibility and/or faithfulness. We had nearly 300 students who acted like a Knight in September! Mr. Bachmeier threw 6 darts. We had special guests, O'Gorman High School Homecoming king & queen in attendance to also throw darts. The cards of students that were "hit" by the dart received special recognition as well as a prize from Mr. Bachmeier. To say that we are proud of ALL of our students who acted like a Knight in September is an understatement! 💙
We can't wait to keep celebrating Knight-like behavior all year long!

🏈👕 Jersey Day was a hit! Our students showed off their favorite teams and school spirit as part of Homecoming Week. We loved seeing all the colors, numbers, and excitement filling the halls! 💙📣

The 3rd graders were able to have the fire house come to our school and learn about what to do if there is a fire at their home. They got to practice checking the door and then safely making their way out a window! Thank you Sioux Falls Fire Rescue for teaching our 3rd graders today!

Thank you to these Augustana women's basketball players for visiting St. Mary preschool classrooms this morning! Students enjoyed playing with them at recess and listening to a story read aloud.

St. Mary Elementary is experiencing a power outage. We are operating school as normal; however, our phone lines and internet are currently down. If you have an urgent message, please contact our Central Office at 605-335-6557 and they will get your message to St. Mary Elementary. We will notify our parents and guardians once power is restored.

REMINDER: tomorrow is a Knight wear dress down day! Students can show their school spirit by wearing Knight wear and/or O'Gorman school colors for the upcoming Dakota Bowl this weekend. Students are welcome to wear jeans, sweatpants, shorts, etc. No hair color or face paint, please. Go Knights!
For the first time ever, we’ve reached full capacity for our Dakota Bowl XLVII football camp! Due to the overwhelming number of registrants, we are unable to accept any additional sign-ups and will not be able to accommodate walk-up registrations this year.
We are thrilled to see such incredible excitement and participation in this camp, and we’re looking forward to an amazing experience for all who have registered. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to ensure a safe and well-organized event for every participant. Go Knights!
